Docile Bodies Debuts Tomorrow Night in MTL

Starting tomorrow, May 11th, the live art performance company Wig in a Box will be performing Docile Bodies, their adaptation of Foucault’s Discipline and Punish. The show explores the ways in which power is internalized and perpetuated unconsciously, specifically in relation to gender and queerness. The piece combines movement, sound design, and monologues from the perspectives of female military combatants.

Peformances are May 11th through 13th, 7 PM, at La Chapelle Scenes Contemporaines in Montreal.
