New BRONCHO Video Looks Like They Sound

Nerves were at attention before the mixes came back for BRONCHO's follow-up to Just Enough Hip to Be Woman, as they should have been. That record was a chest-filling relief for anyone who was legit concerned about guitar music never making a relevant mark again. It was the kind of album that if released during the main attraction days of guitar-based hysteria, it would have gone double platinum. Although their June-released LP Double Vanity hasn't necessarily left mouths agape, it hasn't done anything to tarnish the sound or image of the band; a group of Oklahoma-based throwbacks who still believe in plugging back highballs and dressing themselves in a fashion that shows style and respect for its audience while on the road. Their latest video for "Speed Demon" is a congruent visual representation of a band that has fun, nods to its peers, and layers hooks and voice-quivering lines with aplomb.
