Secret Colours | Blackbird (Only One)

A band from Chicago spelling 'colours' correctly! To the Commonwealth!

The new single by Secret Colours, "Blackbird (Only One)" is not a cover of "Blackbird" by the Beatles. We just want to make sure that you readers know that immediately. There really needs to be a requiem on covering "Blackbird" and while we're at it, let's add "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen to that list. This track has all the baggy panache of the Stone Roses if they had made an album in between their debut and Second Coming that actually linked the two together. Let's call this hypothetical album Segue. Enjoy this track from a foursome that despite being based out of Chicago, understands that the word "colour" has a "u" in it.
