Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier Releases New Video

Laetitia Sadier is mostly known for being the voice of the amazing Stereolab but she is also no stranger to collaborating with a ton of interesting artists ranging from The High Llamas to Tyler The Creator. Her latest project, Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble, is about to hit North America in support of their Drag City release Finding Me Finding You and in celebration of this have dropped the video for the wistful and melancholic track “Sacred Project”. Directed by Olia Eichenbaum, the clip is a comprised of double imposed images of nature and the ensemble wandering through a desert scape. Set against the track, it highlights the bands hypnotic sound collage featuring a mournful double bass and all tied together by Saider’s beautiful, icy vocals. It may not be for everyone but if you give “Sacred Project” a chance you may find yourself lured into a charming and elegant world of ennui that only the French seem able to manifest.
