WORLD EXCLUSIVE | UnMap remix Shadow Boxer

Any new jungle in, guy? It’s tough to think of drum & bass and its more syncopated counterpart as being made with brass instruments and guitars, and it’s even more difficult to think of a way to remix a song from a band whose dynamic is definitely unique. Somehow, UnMap has, delivering a future-funk R&B equivalent of Shapeshifter’s single “Shadow Boxer” from their latest  album, Delta. The sampler takes center stage chopping the synthesizer, bass, and vocals, giving the track a loftier and playful sound in contrast to the darker, aggressive album track. UnMap hits the sweetspot of clever re-imagination and faithfulness to the original version.
