The Osheaga 2018 Line-Up Has Just Been Announced!!

After leaking a few of the artists performing this past weekend, Osheaga's festival team has just released the official line-up for the 2018 edition, taking place August 3-5 at Montreal's Parc Jean-Drapeau. Highlights include Travis Scott, St. Vincent, Blondie, Arctic Monkeys, Tyler the Creator, Franz Ferdinand and Florence & The Machine.

Red Bull Music Academy Montreal Kicks Off Today!

The 2017 edition of Red Bull Music Academy in Montreal kicks off today. This year, an educational layer entitled Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp has been added to the mix, where 19 musicians will meet, create and collaborate with musical luminaries in intimate lectures and workships at the Phi Centre.

Montreal Disco King Robert Ouimet -- Red Bull Music Academy

It's a pretty miserable day today in Montreal, but don't let it stop you from getting down to Ville-Émard to check out Red Bull Music Academy's 'Québec Électrique : Montréal Discoville' happening tonight at 9PM at Théâtre Paradoxe. The night is notably featuring disco legend Robert Ouimet -- the Montreal disco DJ of the '70s, a title earned as house DJ at the famed Rue Stanely spot Lime Light (now Chez Parée strip club). In 1977, he won Billboard Magazine's 'Best Canadian DJ' award.

If you are not familiar with Red Bull Music Academy, now is the perfect time to check it out. The Red Bull Music Academy is a month long incubator for music, art, and culture, where established musicians collaborate and create with up and coming musicians, and then the creations that stem from these collaborations are shared with the public via video or live performances. There are also various talks and presentations by musicians and creators from around the world.

Matthew Namour Gallery presents Kevin Cyr's solo exhibition of graffitied trucks

Tonight at the Matthew Namour Gallery in Montreal is the opening of artist Kevin Cyr's solo exhibition, featuring his realistic paintings of the city's eclectic mix of graffitied trucks and vans.

"Cyr's first solo show in Montreal pays Hommage to what gives the city its unique & vibrant character. This new series of oil paintings uses imagery of Montreal's modern day workhorses to talk about the space: 'One can tell a lot about an area by the types of vehicles seen on its streets'."
