Chef

Chef is a feel-good film written and directed by and starring Jon Favreau. A comedy that tells the story of Carl Casper (Favreau), who loses his chef job, but discovers a new venture that not only reestablishes his artistic promise, but at the same time reconnects him to his family. 

There is something for everyone in this movie: laughs, babes (Sofia Vergara, Scarlett Johansson), heart-warming moments with family bonding, and an excellent cast, including Robert Downey Jr., John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, and a short bit with Canadian comedian Russell Peters. The film is on point for being on trend: food trucks, social media and food porn; the food preparation and plating shots will make you drool (if you're into that kind of thing—and we are). We enjoyed Chef and think you will, too. Be warned though, after watching, you might have the urge to open up your own food truck, which we totally support; food trucks are good times!
