Brasil | Stay In Town [VIDEO]

Hailing from the Bay Area, California, garage punk rock band, Brasil, consists of Jasper Leach, Tom Ferguson, Michael Vattuone and Paul Korte who got together in the early summer of 2012 starting as something casual—four guys playing in a room with live vocals and all about keeping the mistakes. They ran songs down as quickly as they could, learned everything right before they recorded it and found everything had a great vibe to it. After ensuing a series of gigs at house parties, bars, clubs and backyards in Oakland and being very well-received in the Bay Area, Brasil debuted with a self-titled album last October.

For their track "Stay in Town," Brasil combines vintage visuals that—in the words of ION Music Editor, Trevor Risk—"reminds me of creepy nineteen seventies Sesame Street." Take a look and listen for yourselves.

Brasil's self-titled album is available via Bandcamp with Beggar's Choice Records.
