Chin Injeti | The Reverb [ALBUM REVIEW]

So this exists.

You know when you're walking through Chinatown and you pass those open air markets that are just buckets of dried versions of things that once were alive but have now been reduced to the most basic compounded smell of their own death? Well those very same insane smelling and what appear to be horribly disparate ingredients when used in the right combination can make some of the tastiest soups your mouth has ever tasted. That's what The Reverb is to me. A lil' from the funk-soul bucket, a dash from that tropicalia pile, some of Jay Kay's (remember Jamiroquai!?) tears, stir in some of the aforementioned reverb and serve in a Beach Boys Bowl™. The recipe may not be perfect but the seasoned and varied skills of Chin Injeti have managed to cook up a very strange but quite sumptous soup. "Did you taste sunshine and beach vibes in that 'I Don't Know Where' bite?" or "the David Banner garnish with the bowl of 'Throwback' I had really opened the complexities of the dish." Those are examples of the conversations you could have over your meal.
