We love a good sale (I mean, who doesn't, really?), but we don't necessarily like sifting through a mismatched sale rack of the season's leftovers. This is where Garmentory comes perfectly into play: shop sale items directly from the independent boutiques and designers that you love—without the hassle of feeling like you're digging through a bargain bin.

ION SHOP SERIES | Cabin Fever Collective

When Robyn and Alex Harrison first moved to High Park, they would return from long walks with their puppy, Emmet, craving a nice spot to listen to awesome tunes and admire original art with a cup of artisanal tea or coffee in hand. And when they couldn’t find anywhere suitable, they opened their own hybrid retail, gallery, tea/coffee lounge, the Cabin Fever Collective.

Having the notion of launching a new store just four months ago and only two weeks to build, the BOARD OF TRADE CO. crept into the heart of Gastown, Vancouver this past weekend. A concept clothing boutique which offers a platform for creatives around the globe to collectively showcase their work, Eunice Quan, David Lin, and Armin Tehrani open up their second location with the aesthetic of futuristic minimalism.

1: Face Watch

Now here’s something we like: fashion with a heart. Cue 1:Face Watch, the humanitarian project created by branding firm, Mirza Minds, who have designed a unisex modern, sleek and minimal watch, with a difference. Available in in six different colours, these raise funds for six different charities. Buy it in white help fight hunger, black to support cancer patients, pink to help fund breast cancer treatment, blue to help developing countries with environmental issues, red to help children with AIDS and yellow to build wells and provide clean water.
