Tess Parks and Teenanger are two of our favourite acts, not just out of Toronto, but anywhere. We smashed them together because we wanted to play God. They interviewed and took photos of each other and this is what we got. “There’s peanut butter in my chocolate! There’s chocolate in my peanut butter!” Together they taste like this.

Franco-Pop disco outfit Le Couleur have released their video for "Voyage Amoureux" off of their EP, Voyage Love. Directed by Julien Manaud aka French Fox, the video was shot entirely on an iPhone with a budget of $600 and is described as a spage-age, retro throwback that perfectly encapsulates Le Couler's disco flavoured brand of French dream-pop.

It may be cliché, but art is a universal language. It speaks to everyone, transcending the boundaries of culture and tongue, and appeals directly to the heart and mind of the individual. It unites people. Perhaps this is why Montreal stands out as a city of artists. In the largest bilingual city in North America, the pervasive presence of art, from street to gallery, seems particularly relevant, as it promotes expression, understanding and unity in a place where things sometimes get lost in translation.

Jody Glenham shows us that under her bath robe are her desert boots with "Dreamer," a cut off her forthcoming EP. She has one of those voices that you just want to wrap around yourself until next Labour Day, with the guitar sounds to back it up. So far she's proving that even without the rest of Pleasure Cruise, you should consider setting sail with her any day no matter the weather.

Naked founder, Joel Primus, came up with the idea for his “undergarment” business while filming a documentary in South America. Not your average way to create an eco-friendly brand that makes you feel “naked.” The 24-year-old Canadian has since turned the idea into a product sold in over 114 locations across North America.
