Matt Sharp and the Rentals Share First Single from New Records

Alex Cameron is the guy you don’t know yet, but has been observing you. He’s that outcast dark horse singing in a dimly lit Karaoke bar with the “golden pipes”. The one who seems shrouded in light with his deep baritone voice and off-beat showmanship; a welcome relief from the drunk who has sung the same AC/DC song poorly for the third time. He’s the guy in the corner drinking his drinks and memorizing your stories, craftily turning them into songs with the writing skills he picked up working as an investigator’s assistant.

If you live in Vancouver we are pretty sure that you are aware that Diner En Blanc took place last night. Your facebook feed has probably been hijacked by images of your friends or people that you know dressed in all white for this exclusive event. Through all of the "white" noise, one of the attendants posts stood out from all the rest, and that is why we would like to honour this "no fucks given" partier who trolled the event and had us laughing so hard it hurt.
